 Colloege Of Technical And Vocational Training Alkhobar, Saudi Arabia Located in the Half Moon area, very close to the coast of the Arabian Gulf, this girl’s college is designed to provide a dynamic and interactive educational environment. The facility includes four major sections: classrooms, administration, laboratories, recreation facilities, and an auditorium. All four sections are connected to the main atrium. The atrium is intended to be a large central hallway that provides pathways throughout the project and acts as a street where students and teachers can cross paths from all areas to the college.  It serves not only as a circulation pathways but also as a communal meeting space that encourages the dynamism of student life.  All elements of the project have been transformed into varying forms and heights to accommodate divers educational requirements and needs.  Ministry of Commerce Riyadh, Saudi Arabia The Ministry of Commerce headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia was constructed in the late 1970s, succeeding an initial two-story building erected in the early 1950s to house the country’s first Ministry of Commerce.  In response to the increasing number of users and the evolving urban landscape, the Ministry of Commerce initiated a project to upgrade its main complex in Riyadh and to redesign the façade of its office building. Following a competitive selection process, ABDULLAH ALZEER + PARTNERS was appointed to redesign the site plan with objectives to alleviate traffic congestion caused by the mixed-use nature of the ministry’s complex and to develop solutions for the complexities associated with its three entrances.  Davids Island Island in New Rochelle, New York  Davids Island is a 78-acre (315,655 SQM) island off the coast of New Rochelle, New York, in Long Island Sound. Currently uninhabited, it was previously the site of Fort Slocum. The island is home to the endangered Kemp’s ridley sea turtle, and birds such as osprey and least terns. Davids Island also supports valuable wetlands, rare rocky intertidal areas, and sandy beaches. The waters surrounding the island are home to winter flounder, Atlantic herring, and Atlantic silverside. HISTORY OF DAVIDS ISLAND Native Americans first began to visit what is today Davids Island long before European colonists arrived on the east coast of North America. Beginning in the 17th century, Euroamericans occupied the island, which supported a farmstead, for nearly two hundred years.   King Abdulaziz International Airport City The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) requested five real estate developers to submit conceptual proposals for the plot located in front of the main terminal at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. Covering an area of over 900,000 square meters, the project offers direct access to the Al Haaramain Railway Station and the main terminal. ABDULLAH ALZEER + PARTNERS was selected by Al Andalus Real Estate Development Company to submit the architectural conceptual proposal to GACA. Poisoned on a highly valuable and strategically important site, the project represents a significant landmark for King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
